The wood swells, loses contact with the adhesive and can become detached. Also, our items with wooden handles are NOT suitable for the microwave!!!! Auch unsere Becher und Teekannen mit Holzgriff sind spülmaschinengeeignet. Natürlich wird das Holz nach einer Weile ausbleichen – es ist Holz. Allerdings kann mit einem Tropfen Olivenöl oder Möbelpolitur die schöne Oberfläche des Holzes wieder zum Vorschein gebracht werden. Dies haben wir getestet und es funktioniert einwandfrei. Allerdings können wir Sparprogramme bzw. Ecoprogamme NICHT empfehlen. Der Holzgriff wird hier zu lang Dampf und Wasser ausgesetzt. Das Holz quillt auf verliert den Kontakt zum Klebstoff und kann sich lösen. Ebenfalls sind unsere Artikel mit Holzgriff NICHT geeignet für die Mikrowelle!

Auch unsere Glasartikel sind spülmaschinengeeignet. Hier gilt allerdings die Einschränkung, dass wir für dekorierte Glasartikel das Spülen von Hand empfehlen.
